December, 2011 The year 2011 is almost over and with it are many unforgettable memories that some of us will probably still be reminded  for years to come. We experienced hurricane, earth quakes, high unemployment, homelessness, pay freeze, 2 threats of government shutdown , budget cuts and many more that affected each and everyone. In view of all those adversities our VAMHCS nurses remain strong , dedicated and continue to care for our nation’s Veterans. As we celebrate this coming Holidays, please remember some of our collegues who are deployed, sick and for those who had left us.
